Knory Exquisite in win over Ipswich

Thursday 17th December ISFA U18 3 IPSWICH TOWN 1 (FA National Football Centre, St. George's Park, 2.00)

Despite a very good start from the ISFA team it was Ipswich Town who took the lead when a shot hit the cross bar, bounced back down in the penalty area and was slotted home from close range.

ISFA dominated from start to finish in the second half, pressing high and moving the ball with great tempo creating many goal scoring opportunities. The deserved equaliser for ISFA came from Oscar Haynes Brown when his neat strike from 15 yards out hit the back of the net. ISFA’s second came as the half wore on through Ed Jackson who skilfully volleyed home a corner ball whipped in by Knory Scott. A mix up in the Ipswich defence allowed Knory Scott one on one with the goalkeeper and Scott finished with an exquisite chip to seal the victory.
