Knory helps ISFA with goal to win against English Colleges

Sunday 10th January ENGLAND INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS 5 ENGLISH COLLEGES 1 (Charterhouse)

The team didn't get off to the best of starts after being warned early on. On the stroke of ten minutes the deadlock was broken when a long ball from the left centre back hit a big diagonal into the right forward who got in behind and finished well across the goalkeeper. After the goal, ISFA responded immediately and dominated the rest of the half with two goals from Oscar Hayes-Brown.

The ISFA team didn't let up after the break and looked to continue from where they left off. Haynes-Brown was constantly a threat to their defence and should have completed his hat-trick but one was pulled back for a foul and the other was offside. ISFA finally created the breathing space when Ryan Doherty latched onto a ball in midfield and sprinted pass the defence to chip the onrushing goalkeeper for the third. The team pressed on and kept up with energy levels and looked to move the ball more effectively as the game grew on. The fourth was scored by Knory Scott when he pounced on a loose ball in the six yard box after a string of goal line clearances and smashed it home from close range. The last goal came from a short corner which was then swung into the box and caused confusion amongst the defence and forced an own goal.
